Welcome to the Official Pecos K-12 Music Website!!!

Hello to so many familiar faces and an even bigger hello to those of you whom I have yet to meet. I am Mr. Gerard Flores, a recent graduate of Colorado State University Pueblo. I have long sought to be your music director and am happy to see that you have chosen me to represent and educate the next generation of music students. It is truly an honor! 

This upcoming year is the beginning of what we hope to be decades of success for the Pecos K-12  Instrumental Music Program! Many people have helped to sustain and nurture the music program here in the past, but I believe it is time to take it to the next level. This year will be full of new ideas and many new successes. I have my own ideas of what I want to make happen, but please talk to me about what you want to see. Tell me about your past experiences both good and bad, for I firmly believe that we can only understand something from what it has been. Let’s speak the same language and communicate all perspectives at all times. Through such communication and consistency of words, paralleled by equal action, the Pecos K-12 Instrumental Music Program will thrive and become renowned as one of this state’s best music institutions! 

This handbook includes policies, procedures, concert dates, and other very important information regarding the Pecos K-12 Instrumental Music Program. Please take the time to read this material, as the success of this program depends upon each individual working toward the same goals.
