A Message From Your Principal
Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year. This year we will be focusing on increasing our math
and reading skills and improving our attendance. Our students have been steadily increasing every year and I am proud of our academic gains.
We will continue our Tower of Reading incentive as well as ourmultiplication challenge. Those incentives were a big hit last year and were fundamental in getting ourstudents to increase their reading and math skills. At Pecos Elementary School, we want our students to have access to the best education, an education they deserve! The teachers and staff at our school havesome big goals for this school year and we need your help more than ever. We will be sharing studentdata and student goals with parents and guardians. This is going to be another big year of growth! We will continue to use Class Dojo as an easy form of communication. Teachers will also use the behavior notification portion of the app as well. We will also be utilizing i-Ready to help us gather data and give extra help on skills that students need extra help on.
I am looking forward to continuing to work with our Pecos Panther family. We have great things
