Welcome back, Panthers!
As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, my heart is filled with pride, gratitude, and excitement. It continues to be an honor to serve as the principal of Pecos High School and to lead the very school that shaped me. Being part of this community, our traditions, our values, and our shared commitment to excellence remains one of my greatest privileges.
At Pecos High School, we know that hard work, accountability, and determination pave the way for success. This year, we will challenge ourselves academically, support one another, and celebrate every milestone along the way. Together, we will set ambitious goals and pursue them with pride, purpose, and perseverance.
I am proud to be a Panther, and even prouder of the incredible students, staff, and families who make Pecos High School such a remarkable place to learn and grow. I look forward to a year filled with achievement, growth, and unforgettable moments.

A Message From Your Counselor
Welcome to another great year at Pecos High School!
My name is Karla Espinoza, and I am excited to begin my fifth year at Pecos High School! I serve as the High School Counselor, Registrar, and Test Coordinator. It is a privilege to support our students and families throughout their high school journey.
My goal is to help every student succeed by providing guidance in personal, academic, college, and career planning. Whether students need assistance with course planning, graduation requirements, college and scholarship preparation, career exploration, or personal challenges, I am here to help. I also work to connect students and families with community resources and services that support their overall growth, well-being, and success.
I believe that strong partnerships between students, families, and school staff create the foundation for a positive and successful high school experience. I look forward to working with you and supporting our students as they achieve their goals and prepare for their futures.
